The Aromatherapy Trade Council (ATC)
As an independent, self-regulating trade body ATC has established guidelines for safety, labelling, packaging and marketing, enshrined within a Code of Practice, to define and maintain standards.
ATC acts as a focal point for public and media enquiries, providing unbiased, authoritative, scientifically relevant advice recognised by regulators and enforcement authorities in the UK. In its role as the MHRA (UK medicines regulator) Advertising Code Administrator, ATC provides market surveillance and offers advice to members and non-members on regulatory compliance and best practice.
As the UK authoritative body for the aromatherapy essential oil industry in the UK and abroad, ATC is committed to promoting high standards in the presentation and supply of essential oils and aromatherapy products.
